The PRESTO Translation and Language Centre has been active on the Czech market since 1990. Its mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive language services.
Our experienced team includes translators, interpreters, proof-readers, language teachers, graphic artists, programmers, and project managers. We co-operate with more than 4,000 external associates, who are specialised in diverse fields and disciplines, and provide our customers with the very best quality translation and interpreting services.
Translations
The employees of our departments in association with our external translators and proofreaders execute more than 100 translation assignments, amounting to 800 to 1,200 pages of translated text, every day.
For some of our translations, we use sophisticated CAT tools – Trados, Transit, and MultiTrans. We specialise in all disciplines, from technical and legal translations to translations of EU legislation, or concerning banking, economics, industrial sectors, telecommunications, and IT.
Our company holds the ISO 9001:2008 certificate, both for translations and interpreting.

We translate into more than 70 languages. Our clients satisfaction and long-term cooperation are the main measure of the quality of our translations. Our more than 20 years on the market guarantee the experience of our staff, proofreaders, and translators. The combination of translations, interpreting, software localisation and our own AV studio gives us the unique opportunity of ensuring for our customers comprehensive services in the appropriate quality.
All our translations undergo a through quality check. For texts designed for printing or public presentation, we also recommend comparative proofreading of the translation and pre-print proofreading.
